Built the online store for a building and construction materials supplier in India.

The problem

BuildSupply sells building and construction materials as a supplier, manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler in India, and needed an online store for its buyers.

What we did

• Built BuildSupply’s e-commerce store for building and construction materials.
• Covered categories from air conditioners and cement to sanitaryware, tiles, steel and solar lights.

Result

Buyers could order building and construction materials online, alongside the Material Manager product for project teams.

What I learned

   Bulky, price-sensitive products need a catalogue that makes comparing options easy.

   Building the store and the inventory tool for the same company showed me both sides of the supply chain.
