One operations portal for vouchers, payments, inventory, rates and enquiries.

The problem

Hotel staff needed one system for the work around every booking.

What we did

• Built voucher generation, including travel agent vouchers.
• Built payments and refunds, and quotations.
• Built bookings and enquiries with staff assignment per task.
• Added newsletters, email notifications and business notifications.
• Built room inventory on a calendar view with commission, breakfast and with/without-child rates.
• Set up data backup.

Result

Staff run vouchers, payments, inventory, rates and enquiries from one portal.

What I learned

   A calendar view is the fastest way for hotel staff to reason about inventory.

2. 02

   Assigning every enquiry to a person is what makes it get answered.
