The problem
Several DX teams across brands were adopting AI-driven development and needed a shared set of standards and skills for their stack.
What we did
- Built the ai-sdlc orchestration skill with artifact reuse, context caching, TDD enforcement, verify cadence and parallel-agent dispatch.
- Added quality-gates and scaffold rules enforcing SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, KISS and import boundaries.
- Contributed an adversarial-review skill with an OWASP and DRY/SOLID rubric, a repo-rules layer and PR template conformance.
- Added session-start and skill-loader hooks so the right skill loads at the right moment.
Result
DX teams share one way of working with agents, and lessons from the TCS workflow flowed back into these skills.
What I learned
- 01
Cross-team skills work when each team can add its own domain knowledge on top.
- 02
Building with another tech lead surfaced blind spots neither of us would have caught alone.
